From the processing building we head to the fields. Here we have both male and female
pistachio trees ( just like people, the male doesn't bear) and in the months of May
through September, you can see the nut clusters on the trees (the female ones). September
is harvest month when we use large shakers (machines) to harvest the nuts from the trees. |
