Pistachio Pasta

   

INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS

1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 cup minced onion
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup coarsely chopped Heart of the Desert Pistachios
1/4 cup minced parsley
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon crushed basil leaves
8 ounces pasta, cooked and drained
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Sauté garlic and onion in hot oil in a skillet over medium heat until onion is tender.  Add nuts and next 6 ingredients; cook over medium heat 2 to 3 minutes.  Add Parmesan and toss.  Makes 6 servings.
